I was saddened to hear that Steve has passed away. My late husband Hap and Steve and"the boys" were a card playing group for many years. Steve always had a sweet greeting when we met. And I used to tease him about getting his ample body into the, low to the ground, Corvette. He was a very loving father who will be missed by those who loved him.

"Steve" and I were high school friends as brothers in Sigma Phi fraternity. I was also his pledge master. We spent a lot of summers back in the 50s-60s just enjoying ourselves going to parties, sporting events and other social gatherings. He had a great smile, was the life of the party, had a great sense of humor and was fun to be with. While we drifted apart during later years I am sorry for your loss and still have great memories of those earlier years growing up together.

I was friends with Steve in high school [BCC June '59 & Sigma Phi Brothers]. His family lived in Ranchleigh and mine lived in Meadowood. He drove me to school many mornings in his red Chevy Belair convertible with a suicide knob. He was always fun to be around. We lost touch after graduation, but I would see him at the family business on Cross Street when I worked for my Father in the coin op business.
I am very sorry for your loss.
